Job summary

ARCO National Construction is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial design-build projects across the United States. You will oversee field operations, manage subcontractors, and partner with the project manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires leadership, travel readiness, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Excel, along with a valid driver’s license and physical ability to handle demanding site work.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent.
• Willing to travel throughout the United States.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Excel.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and jobsite execution across project phases.
• Direct subcontractors and manage field teams to ensure schedule adherence.
• Attend post-award review meetings to gather project details and begin preconstruction planning.
• Collaborate with the project manager to develop construction schedules and resource needs.
• Oversee project quality, safety, costs, and adherence to specifications.
• Prepare job progress reports and review requisitions, PO, and invoices.
