Job summary

ARCO National Holdings is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial design-build projects nationwide. You will manage field operations, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate with the project manager to ensure safety, quality, and profitability across multiple sites.

The role requires ownership from post-award review through completion, with travel across the United States and a strong emphasis on leadership, scheduling, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent.
• Willing to travel throughout the United States.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and jobsite execution across all project phases.
• Direct teams, resolve conflicts, and keep projects on schedule.
• Attend post-award review to gather details and start preconstruction planning.
• Develop construction schedules with project manager for manpower and equipment needs.
• Oversee work to meet specifications, stay on schedule, and achieve profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet project timelines.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actuals.
• Review requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and key documents.
• Maintain communication with the project manager on progress and issues.
• Complete daily progress reports and maintain safety program adherence.
• Lead with integrity and focus on quality and client satisfaction.
