Job summary

ARCO National Construction is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial design-build projects across the United States. You will oversee field operations, coordinate with the project manager to craft schedules, and manage subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as Lead Superintendent, are willing to travel nationwide, and are proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Lead Superintendent.
• Willing to travel across the United States.
• Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and jobsite execution across commercial/industrial projects.
• Attend post-award review meetings to gather project details and plan preconstruction steps.
• Develop construction schedules with PM, including sequencing and resources.
• Ensure work meets specs, stays on schedule, and achieves profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet the project timeline.
• Prepare and review progress/cost reports, requisitions, PO invoices, and key docs.
• Maintain communication with PM about progress, plans, and issues.
• Complete daily reports documenting project events and safety compliance.
• Enforce safety program adherence and uphold quality and integrity.
