Job summary

ARCO is seeking a results-driven construction leader to manage projects from planning through completion. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and meeting tight deadlines on-site in Illinois, with leadership across cross-functional teams and subcontractors.

You will oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control while maintaining strong client relations and adhering to ARCO’s safety program. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing or walking for long periods, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning.
• Participate with the project manager in preparing a schedule of construction activities and the manpower and equipment requirements.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and schedule.
• Assist the project manager/engineer with duties including shipment of materials and approvals of shop drawings and materials samples.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
