Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced traveling Construction Manager for an Advanced Technology project portfolio, including Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, and EV/Battery sectors. The role supports Superintendents/Foremen, oversees trade labor, and ensures ROJ dates align with project schedules.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel 50%+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum ten years related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communications abilities; proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office, SAP, SharePoint.
• Must be able to travel 50%+ of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions with Operations Manager.
• Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments per project needs.
• Support Superintendent for duration of the job.
• Review schedules to keep critical activities on task and ROJ dates to PM team.
• Document field issues impacting budget, quality or schedule and report to PM team.
• Respond to subcontractor field-issue requests affecting budget/quality/schedule.
• Oversee development/maintenance of Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
• Guide QA/QC program implementation.
• Identify Self-Perform opportunities and assist in self-perform proposal development.
• Manage Self-Perform performance.
• Collaborate with BU Safety Director on Safety Program implementation.
• Review Capabilities/Accomplishments/Progress (ReCAP) for field trades.
• Maintain progression/succession plan with OM.
• Manage training for tradesmen.
• Support BD/Estimating/PX teams in operational planning for pursuits.
• Assist in logistics planning with Project Exec/Sup and PM during pre-construction/early activities.
