Job summary

Leopardo Construction is seeking a Superintendent II (traveler) to lead day-to-day field operations on medium-to-large projects. You’ll plan, direct, and coordinate project activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality control on site.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, reviewing docs, and leading meetings. Must have a strong track record, with 5+ years supervisory experience and CAD/blueprint literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent training/experience
• 5+ years supervisory experience as a Construction Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Understanding of all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control
• Proven success on mid-sized projects ($1-5M) or multiple small projects; healthcare/retail/hospitality exp
• Ability to read and understand blueprints; scheduling software familiarity (Raken)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily subcontractor, foremen, and self-perform activities
• Initiate a project quality plan to monitor initiatives and ensure work quality standards
• Verify field conditions via daily jobsite walkthroughs and daily safe work plans
• Monitor the master schedule, create two-week look ahead, track critical dates
• Coordinate and participate in pre-construction, weekly, and post-construction meetings
• Review construction documents and maintain plans in PlanGrid
• Generate pre-punch and punch lists and assign responsibilities for timely completion
• Build relationships with clients/owners, architects, developers, and subcontractors
• Assist in recruiting and training efforts
