Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a high-level Project Executive to lead a portfolio of commercial construction projects. You will manage financial performance, secure new work, and uphold the Layton Way of delivering predictable outcomes for clients and internal teams.

In this role, you will oversee margins, engage with customers to exceed expectations, and guide pre-construction and scheduling efforts to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year degree in a construction-related major.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience.
• Ability to motivate and develop people.
• Strong judgment under pressure and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial and general project performance of all projects within their portfolio.

• Lead pre-construction efforts for potential and secured work.
• Has total responsibility for the success of their customer and our success with that customer.
• Oversee margin and ensure we target the right customers and meet expectations.
• Provide senior overview and input for project schedules during acquisition and execution.
