Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, procurement, scheduling, and execution of ground-up commercial projects. This role travels full-time to project sites and is responsible for delivering predictable outcomes while maximizing profitability and quality.

You will work with the project team, prepare estimates, develop PMPs, secure permits, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Superintendent to ensure project delivery and strengthen client relationships.
• Assists in preparing estimates and project budgets; leads the PMP and pre-award meetings.
• Negotiates change orders and coordinates subcontractor agreements; ensures permits and regulatory compliance.
• Prepares project schedules with milestones in coordination with the project superintendent.
• Manages procurement of materials and equipment; tracks cost, safety, quality and schedule.
• Maintains client relationships and conducts project reviews with cost accounting input.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
