Job summary

HPM is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full construction lifecycle from planning through completion. You will coordinate vendors, negotiate contracts, manage client expectations, and oversee estimating, procurement, and schedule production on high‑stakes projects.

You will travel to sites as needed, supervise junior staff, maintain budgets and cost reports, and ensure compliance with standards and procedures. A strong background in building sciences and on-site construction is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 4-10 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Detailed knowledge of budgeting, procurement and contract administration.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO).
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project managers and participate in training for staff.
• Maintain the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and budget.
• Develop project administration, correspondence and letters.
• Provide planning, design, construction and technical support for projects.
• Develop and monitor budgetary controls for each project.
• Review documentation related to contracts, payments, change orders, inspections and safety.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze contractor proposals.
• Attend planning and status meetings; search for new business and grow client relationships.
• Manage submittal approvals, RFIs, RFPs, and material procurement.
• Create and monitor SSRs, monthly projections, and pay applications; manage cash flow.
