Job summary

HPM is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full construction lifecycle in Orlando, FL. You will plan, coordinate and oversee vendors, budgets, schedules and client expectations while mitigating risk and ensuring contract compliance.

This role requires 4–10 years of large-scale construction experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management or related field, and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools. Travel up to 5 days per week is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4–10 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of assistant project managers and participate in delivering training for other project and some field staff.
• Maintain the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and budget.
• Develop project administration, correspondence, letters etc.
• Provide planning, administration, programming, design, construction and technical support to ensure projects are executed to standards.
• Develop and ensure budgetary controls for each project to monitor progress and budget.
• Review documentation related to project construction administration, contractor payments, change orders, inspections, quality controls, safety and contract compliance.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze contractor proposals.
• Attend owners organizational meetings for input on construction, renovation, and other projects.
• Serve as owner's representative in the execution and administration of contracts.
• Prepare and review budgets and scope amendments for funding changes.
