Job summary

HPM is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full construction lifecycle, from planning to close. You will coordinate vendors, negotiate contracts, manage client expectations, and oversee estimates and procurement to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This role requires coordinating teams, maintaining budgets and reporting, and traveling to project sites up to five days a week. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success at HPM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 4–10 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of assistant project managers and participate in delivering training for other project and some field staff.
• Maintain the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and budget.
• Develop all project administration, correspondence, letters etc.
• Provide planning, administration, programming, design, construction and technical support to ensure all projects are executed per standards.
• Develop and ensure budgetary controls for each project to monitor progress and budget.
• Review documentation related to project construction administration, contractor payments, change orders, inspections, quality controls, and contracts.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze contractor proposals.
• Attend owners meetings for input on construction, renovation, and other projects.
• Serve as owner's representative in execution of contracts.
• Prepare and review budgets and amendments, and changes in funding.
• Attend planning and status meetings.
• Search for new business and grow relationships with customers.
• Manage submittal approvals, RFI's, RFP's, SWA's, EWO's, PCO's, procurement.
• Maintain project plan with SSRs, projections, change orders, pay apps, and cash flow.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking for scheduling and budgeting.
• Maintain understanding of job contracts and documents.
