Job summary

Terracon seeks a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to support projects nationwide with 100% travel across the Rocky Mountain division and beyond. You will perform field testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel while coordinating with project teams.

This role requires independence, strict safety adherence, and the ability to relocate for high-profile transportation, commercial, and energy projects.

Qualifications

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certification required/preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel 100% and for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials per procedures.
• Documents findings clearly and communicates results to Project Manager.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment; ensures sites meet safety standards.
• Transport samples and deliver data/observations to the Project Manager.
• Collaborates with field personnel to meet project goals across multiple sites.

Education
