Terracon is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to perform field testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel at diverse project sites nationwide. This role requires 100% travel within the North Central division across multiple states, strict safety adherence, timely reporting, and coordination with project teams.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of relevant experience, MS Word/Excel skills, and a valid driver's license; NICET/ICC

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Experience with laptop use and MS Word/Excel.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and for extended periods without home travel.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel).
• Prepare and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for project management.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; ensure safety standards on all projects.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians to project sites.
