Terracon is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials across diverse projects nationwide. You will travel 100% to sites in the North Central division and collaborate with project teams to ensure testing accuracy and safety compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to travel extensively, and experience with MS Word/Excel.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experience.
Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Willingness to travel up to 100% and for extended periods of time without the ability to travel home.
A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
NICET/ICC/AWS/ASNT certifications preferred or required where stated.

Mansioni

Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and procedures.
Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the PM.
Assists higher level technicians on complex tasks.
Maintains assigned equipment and related calibration.
Follows safety rules and practices for all projects and reports safety concerns.
