Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise the site and lead daily construction activities for industrial food and beverage facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety compliance on-site while collaborating with owners, engineers, and architects.

You will drive project scope and deliverables, review plans, and coordinate field engineering and commissioning activities across multiple sites in the USA and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or related field preferred.
• Design-build experience on industrial projects.
• Overseeing sub-contractors and driving project schedule.
• Strong client interaction, organizational, managerial and communication skills.
• Fundamental understanding of construction phases; able to read and interpret documents, schedules and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD a plus.
• Travel up to 100% to projects in USA and possibly Canada.
• Work schedule: 10 days onsite, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of construction activities and coordination of subcontractors and site safety programs.
• Oversee field engineers or junior construction managers as directed.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule with project management.
• Handle project accounting, budgeting and cost management.
• Maintain site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Oversee equipment installations and utility works.
• Coordinate permits, codes, and regulatory approvals.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and close-out activities.
• Collaborate with owners, subs, building officials, and A/E teams.
