Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise site activities for industrial food and beverage facilities across the USA and Canada. This role coordinates subcontractors, tracks schedule and budget, and ensures site safety and quality on multiple projects.

You will work closely with project teams, clients and designers, performing field and office tasks, and supporting project controls and start-up activities. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in construction science or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Design-build experience on industrial projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and driving the project schedule.
• Client interaction experience with strong technical, organizational and communication skills.
• Progressively responsible field experience on industrial building projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Up to 100% travel to projects across USA and Canada; work 10 days onsite, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medium-sized projects and coordinate with project management on scope, budget and schedule.
• Manage project accounting, budgeting and cost control; maintain site safety procedures.
• Coordinate field engineering, inspections, testing and third-party relationships.
• Prepare permits, change orders and project close-out activities.
• Collaborate with owners, subs, building officials and A/E teams.
• Review submittals, RFIs and invoices; support project controllers and managers.
