Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise field operations on food and beverage processing facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets while collaborating with engineers and architects.

This onsite role requires strong communication, site safety leadership, and travel across the USA and Canada. Design-build experience with industrial projects is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Design-build experience on industrial projects is strongly preferred.
• Overseeing sub-contractors and driving the project schedule.
• Client interaction experience with strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
• Progressively responsible job site experience on industrial building projects.
• You should understand all phases of construction and be able to read construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works autonomously on overseeing medium-sized projects.
• Developing and updating project scope, budget, and schedule with project management.
• Project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establishing and maintaining site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Overseeing equipment installations and permitting, code, and regulatory tasks.
• Coordinate field engineering and manage third-party testing and inspections.
• Client facing role coordinating with owners, subs, and A/E teams.
