NexGen is seeking two interns for its Special Projects Department for Summer 2027. Locations are TBD. As an intern you will support key lifecycle activities including safety management, scheduling, procurement, and project coordination, working with Project Management and Field Operations in both office and job-site environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safety management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and project coordination.
• Support review and organization of project cost information and assist in distributing estimates.
• Help with quantity takeoffs, budgeting, and proposal preparation.
• Contribute to scheduling activities and track progress on assigned projects.
• Coordinate communication with general contractors and owners under supervision.
