Job summary

AppleOne is seeking a hands-on Superintendent - Construction to lead field operations on commercial projects, coordinating project managers, subcontractors, and site teams while keeping safety, quality, and schedules on track.

The role requires reading drawings, managing multiple priorities, and traveling to projects within an 8-hour radius of the Pittsburgh area. Ideally you have 3–5 years of superintendent experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience reading construction drawings, specs, architectural and civil plans.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily commercial construction activities and coordinate subs, vendors, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, architectural plans, and civil plans to guide field execution.
• Monitor schedules, identify delays, and resolve issues to protect progress.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain quality workmanship on site.
• Maintain daily reports, site photos, punch lists, and project closeout records.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, inspectors, and field personnel to ensure project success.
