Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support multifamily projects across the Southeast and beyond. You will help manage project staff and subcontractors, coordinate schedules, oversee safety plans, and assist in planning to meet project goals on time.

Experience with exterior and hardscape within multifamily construction, strong communication, and organizational skills are essential. Travel is full-time, often long-term at various project sites.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multifamily construction projects.
• Familiarity with exterior and hardscape in multifamily builds.
• Knowledge of safety, scheduling and budgeting basics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors on production schedules and deliverables.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety policies and plans.
• Coordinate project activities with company personnel.
• Review status reports, shop drawings and modifications as required.
• Meet with project personnel to discuss issues and provide technical guidance.
• Assist with directing, coordinating and evaluating project performance, budget, scheduling, and risk.
• Review and submit works and change orders to superintendent.
• Attend and direct project status meetings and assist in problem solving.
• Travel full-time to various locations for extended periods (up to 1–2 years).
