Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. seeks a Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support daily operations on multifamily construction projects across the Southeast, coordinating project staff, subcontractors, scheduling, and safety. Experience with exterior and hardscape work is preferred as projects are in active stages.

Candidate will travel full-time, manage site activities, and provide guidance to ensure goals are met within timeframes. A construction management background is strongly favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Construction/Business Management preferred.
• 3+ years of industry construction experience within the MULTIFAMILY NEW construction (not rehab/remodel) sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules with subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety procedures and plans.
• Assist with coordination of project activities with Company personnel.
• Review status reports, shop drawings, and changes for schedules or plans.
• Meet with project personnel to discuss and provide technical advice to resolve problems.
• Support overall project direction including safety, resources, performance, budget, scheduling, and risk.
• Review and submit works and changes to the superintendent.
• Attend and direct project status meetings and assist in problem solving.
