Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks a Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support multifamily projects across the Southeast and beyond. You will coordinate staff and subcontractors, manage schedules, safety, and planning, and ensure project goals are met within timeframes.

Experience in exterior and hardscape work on multifamily sites is required. Travel (full-time) is a core aspect, with oversight of budgets, quality, and risk.

Qualifications

• Construction/Business Management degree preferred.
• 3+ years of industry construction experience in multifamily construction (not rehab/remodel).
• Experience with exterior and hardscape in multifamily projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with employees and subcontractors on production schedules and deliverables.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety procedures and plans.
• Coordinate project activities with Company personnel.
• Review status reports, shop drawings, and modifications for schedules.
• Meet with project staff to discuss technical issues and resolve problems.
• Assist in directing and evaluating project safety, resources, performance, budget, and risk.
• Process works and change orders to superintendent for submission.
• Attend and direct project status meetings and assist in problem solving.
