Job summary

Cooper Tacia General Contracting is seeking motivated Assistant Superintendents for our Raleigh and Atlanta offices. You will work closely with Senior Superintendents and Project Managers, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship while helping deliver projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

The role offers exposure to commercial construction across the Southeast, with opportunities to grow into leadership positions as you develop site management and coordination skills

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in commercial construction
• Ability to meet or exceed construction goals and project timelines
• Exceptional written, verbal, and technological communication skills
• Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Logical thinking with a commonsense approach to challenges
• Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality on all job sites
• Valid, insurable U.S. driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Support the management of construction sites, coordinating subcontractors and overseeing employees
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
• Aid in developing and maintaining project schedules for timely milestones
• Participate in quality control to uphold high standards of workmanship
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including logs and reports
• Ensure site cleanliness and organization for a professional work environment
