Job summary

Cooper Tacia General Contracting Company is seeking dynamic Assistant Superintendents to join our team in Atlanta (and Raleigh). You will work closely with Senior Superintendents and Project Managers to help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality.

The role emphasizes coordinating site activities, maintaining schedules, and upholding safety and quality across commercial construction projects.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in commercial construction or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem solving and decision making.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate team members.
• Commitment to safety and quality on all sites.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Assist in managing construction sites and coordinating subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.

As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll play a critical role in our project execution team. You'll work closely with experienced Senior Superintendents and Project Managers, gaining invaluable on-the-job experience and mentorship. You'll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Job Responsibilities

• Support the management of construction sites, including coordinating subcontractors and overseeing employees to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Aid in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
• Participate in quality control processes to uphold high standards of workmanship, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds project specifications and industry standards.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including daily logs and reports, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of project progress.
• Ensure site cleanliness and organization, creating a professional and efficient work environment.

What We Require for the Assistant Superintendent Role

• 3-4 years of experience in commercial construction, with a solid track record of assisting in successful project completions.
• Demonstrated ability to assist in meeting or exceeding construction goals and project timelines.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and technological communication skills.
