Job summary

Ryan Companies Inc. in Atlanta seeks an Assistant Superintendent – Traveling to coordinate on-site activities across subcontractors and Ryan crews, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment.

You will read blueprints, manage safety programs, track CPM schedules, assist with material procurement, and enforce quality control while remaining adaptable to shifting site conditions and deadlines. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and calmness under pressure, with travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and random/post-accident testing.
• Completion of union-required training programs or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Administer project safety per Ryan policies and develop Job Safety/Hazard Analysis.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate work across crews.
• Develop and track a CPM schedule to ensure on-time completion.
• Understand the project budget and work within your portion.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Assist with material procurement and on-site logistics.
• Enforce site safety manual and engage in quality control.
