Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate the work of Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The role requires safety leadership, budget awareness, reading blueprints, schedule tracking (CPM), and effective communication under pressure to keep crews focused and standards high. You'll review safety policies, manage subcontractors, assist with procurement and quality control, and uphold

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pre-employment drug test and random/post-accident testing required.
• Union-required training programs or equivalent required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Administer project safety per Ryan policies and develop a site Job Safety/Hazard Analysis.
• Manage subcontractors in performance of their work.
• Develop and track a CPM computer-generated schedule.
• Understand the project budget and manage your portion of costs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Assist with material procurement.
• Work efficiently and independently.
• Enforce site-specific Project Safety Manual.
• Engage in Quality Control practices.
