Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an experienced Traveling Assistant Superintendent to join our team from the Nashville, TN area. The role requires oversight of large-scale, multi-million dollar projects within the Industrial and Industrial/Aerospace sectors while traveling to sites outside Tennessee as needed.

You will support the Superintendent, coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors, and enforce safety policies on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent with project supervision and management.
• Promote safety as the top priority and enforce safety plans.
• Coordinate with estimators, designers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Develop production plans aligned with budget goals.
• Prepare project status and payroll documentation as needed.
• Review plans and shop drawings for contract compliance and coordination.
• Staffing, materials, and tool procurement planning for each phase.
• Recruit, hire, and direct on-site field personnel per HR policies.
• Resolve workforce issues in coordination with HR/Legal.
