Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an experienced traveling Senior Superintendent to lead large-scale projects in the Industrial & Aerospace sectors. The role is based in Nashville, TN, with travel to projects across GA, AL, NC, SC, and FL.

You will oversee safety, coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors, and manage staffing, procurement, and reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience.
• Industrial and/or Industrial/Aerospace experience required.
• Current knowledge of local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to top management, owners, subcontractors, and other outside entities.

Responsibilities

• Advocates safety as number one priority on the jobsite and enforces safety policies.
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate management of construction projects with owners, designers, and subcontractors.
• Develops and implements production plans with budget goals in mind.
• Prepare or oversee project status reports and payroll documentation.
• Oversee plans, drawings, and shop drawing coordination with contract documents.
