Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an experienced Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support large-scale, multi-million dollar projects in the Industrial and Aerospace sectors. The role is based in Nashville, TN, with travel to project sites potentially outside Tennessee including GA, AL, NC, SC, and FL.

You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedules, and budgets are met while leading field teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Able to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Industrial or Industrial/Aerospace experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent and coordinate management of construction projects.
• Develops and implements production plans with budget goals.
• Prepare project status, payroll, and compliance reports.
• Oversee tool & material procurement and staffing levels.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and safety compliance.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and project documentation.
