Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC seeks an experienced traveling Senior Superintendent to lead large scale, multi-million dollar projects within the Industrial & Industrial/Aerospace sectors. The role is based out of Nashville, TN, with travel to sites across GA, AL, NC, SC or FL as needed.

The position requires coordinating with owners, designers and subcontractors, enforcing safety, managing production plans, and reporting on project status while ensuring compliance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience.
• Industrial and/or Industrial/Aerospace experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA or related safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to owners, subcontractors and management.
• Ability to travel frequently by car and air to jobsites across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Advocates safety as a priority and enforces safety plans and regulations.
• Supervises, coordinates, and directs construction management with owners, designers, and subcontractors.
• Develops and implements production plans with budget goals.
• Prepares project status reports.
• Maintains daily, progress, and compliance reports and logs.
• Reviews plans and shop drawings for alignment with contract documents.
• Procures tools and materials to meet the work schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and resource allocation for each project phase.
• Recruits and directs onsite field personnel per HR policies.
• Oversees payroll submission and HR/payroll documentation.
• Resolves workforce complaints and grievances with HR/legal support.
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Ensures schedules are met through staffing and procurement planning.
• Supervises subcontractors to ensure contract compliance.
• Enforces company policies and coordinates regulatory inspections.
