Job summary

Join Parachute is seeking an Assistant Manager (Heavy Travel) in Athens, TN. You will lead daily donor-floor operations alongside the Center Director, ensuring a welcoming, compliant environment while guiding a high-performing team.

This role involves 8 weeks of paid training with travel up to 75%, and you’ll earn up to $70K with a base in the $50K–$55K range plus a monthly bonus. Medical/dental/vision benefits and PTO are included.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in cold environments briefly (-40°C).
• Willingness to work day and evening hours, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations on the donor floor to ensure smooth flow and retention.
• Partner with the Center Director to plan goals for operations and donor experience.
• Lead by example and coach team members in real time.
• Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory standards; support audits.
• Manage and maintain inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Recruit and develop strong team members and foster growth.
• Communicate expectations through regular team syncs and updates.
