Join Parachute in Salisbury, NC seeks an Assistant Manager (Heavy Travel) to lead daily donor-floor operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment while partnering with the Center Director. This role drives performance and culture across a high-traffic site.

Compensation includes up to $70K total (base $50K–$55K) plus up to 25% monthly bonus and comprehensive benefits; includes 8 weeks of training with travel and up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand or sit for extended periods, and work in cold environments (-40°C) for short periods.
• Day/evening hours, weekends, holidays, extended shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations on the donor floor, ensuring smooth donor flow and retention.
• Partner with the Center Director to plan and execute goals around operations, donor experience, and compliance.
• Lead by example and coach team members in real time.
• Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory standards, supporting audits and inspections.
• Manage and maintain inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Recruit and develop exceptional team members and foster a culture of growth and accountability.
• Communicate and align expectations through regular team syncs and updates.
