Job summary

Parachute is hiring an Assistant Manager (Heavy Travel) in Athens, TN. You will partner with the Center Director to lead day-to-day operations on the donor floor, drive donor experience, safety, and compliance, and coach the team across a growing fleet of centers.

You will travel up to 75% and play a key role in centers in transition, filling leadership gaps, and building buy-in while staying hands-on and mission-driven in a fast-growth plasma donation environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit or stand for extended periods, and enter cold environments (-40°C) for short periods.
• Ability to work both day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, extended shifts.
• A Reliable Problem Solver – ownership, proactive prioritization, and outcomes focus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations by jumping in on the donor floor, ensuring smooth donor flow and retention.
• Partner on strategy with the Center Director to plan and execute goals around operations, donor experience, and compliance.
• Lead by example and coach team members in real time.
• Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory standards, supporting audits and inspections.
• Manage and maintain inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Recruit and develop exceptional team members and foster a culture of growth and accountability.
• Communicate and align expectations through regular team syncs, share updates, and keep everyone focused on the day’s priorities.
