Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Wire EDM Field Service Technician to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems on Mitsubishi Machining products. This 100% travel position covers the Indianapolis area and the US, with on-site customer service and remote support when possible.

The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical skills, an electronics degree or equivalent, and strong communication. Expect heavy travel, driving, and a fast-paced team environment; candidates must be able

Qualifications

Reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
CNC programming skills a plus.
Operate computer using Windows operating systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
Document in detail product problems and resolutions
Other duties as assigned
