Vestas is seeking a Repair Technician II to join our Travel Repair/MCE Team. This remote, hourly role requires 100% travel across the South region, with overtime and supplemental earnings. A $2,500 USD sign-on bonus is offered.

You will grow your electrical and mechanical skills while working on wind turbine components and ensuring optimal performance across multiple sites. Expect extensive travel to sites, exposure to various turbine platforms, and a strong safety-focused environment.

Formación

• Minimum one year of wind technician experience, or six months wind technician experience with a Wind Technician certificate/education, or 2 years of transferrable mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and executing major repairs on various platforms.
• Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform major component exchanges including gearboxes, generators, and other critical systems.
• Travel extensively to support turbine operations across multiple platforms and site conditions.
• Conduct maintenance, minor to medium repairs, design modifications, retrofits, and special projects.
