Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Repair Technician II for a remote, hourly role with 100% travel across the South region. The position offers overtime and the potential to earn over $100,000 per year, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You will work on wind turbines, performing major component exchanges and various maintenance tasks while advancing your electrical and mechanical skills. Ideal candidates have wind technician experience, safety training, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of wind technician experience or 6 months with Wind Technician certificate/education, or 2 years of transferrable mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform major component exchanges including gearboxes, generators, and other critical systems.
• Travel extensively to support turbine operations across the South region.
• Execute maintenance, repairs, redesigns, retrofits, and special projects following established procedures.
