Responsibilities

• Performs vascular studies including carotid, arterial/venous duplex, dialysis grafts, and renal artery duplex.
• Uses PACS and Philips ultrasound equipment for image acquisition and interpretation.
• Epic EMR used for charting; maintains accurate and timely documentation.

• Ultrasound Tech - General/Vascular unit
• Adult, Emergency Department, ICU, and portable exam settings
• Performs general ultrasound including abdominal, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, and small parts imaging
• Performs vascular studies including carotid, arterial/venous duplex, dialysis grafts, and renal artery duplex
• Uses PACS and Philips ultrasound equipment
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Weekly schedule includes Tue-Thu 1p-9:30p, Fri 8a-4:30p, and Sat 7a-3:30p

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, 1.5 years accepted with Level I trauma or travel experience
• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB, ARDMS OB/GYN, and ARDMS RVT preferred
• BLS preferred
• Adult, ED, ICU, and portable ultrasound experience required

Additional Information

• Performs vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, renal, and small parts ultrasound studies across adult, ED, ICU, and portable settings
• Teal scrub color required
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine/booster required with religious or medical exemptions only
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Local candidates not accepted if within 75 miles of the facility
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities
