American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a teaching hospital.

Details

• Teaching hospital with 351 licensed beds, no trauma designation
• Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
• Ultrasound department averages 50 exams per day
• Patient types include ED, IP, and OP
• 12-hour night shift schedule, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR and Siemens Accuson ultrasound equipment
• Daytime transport support available within the department
• No floating required
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Weekend rotation dependent on requisition
• Travelers expected to work 75% of holidays

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARDMS or ARRT-US certification required
• AB and RVT certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience as an Ultrasound Tech
• Minimum 12 months of core work experience in the specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year

• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
