• Utilize PACS system and Epic EMR for image management.
• Work 3x12-hour night shifts; 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week

Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient radiology department requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification with RDMS competency.

Details

• Outpatient ultrasound services in a radiology department of a 495-bed regional referral hospital
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily caseload of 10-15 patients
• Performs general imaging ultrasound including thyroid and venous extremity exams
• Procedures include general, abdomen, OB/Gyn, renal/pelvis, and small parts ultrasound
• Vascular procedures include Doppler studies, upper/lower extremity venous, and M-Mode
• Preferred experience with peripheral vascular and renal artery duplex studies
• Uses PACS system and Epic EMR
• Preferred experience with Siemens and Acuson equipment/scanners
• 3x12-hour night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• First week orientation scheduled Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend requirement every Saturday and Sunday
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound/sonography
• BLS and ARRT certification (RDMS AB) required
• ARRT certification (RDMS OB) preferred
• Outpatient setting experience required
• Inpatient, ER, Level 1 Trauma, Neonate, and NICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
