Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with ARDMS certification and 2+ years experience, including pediatric scanning, for a weekend-focused hospital schedule.

Details

• Hospital-based sonography unit with 4 rooms and 4 machines
• Caseload of 12-15 cases per tech per day
• Pediatric patient population with a high volume of abdominal/stomach cases
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour shifts, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 0700-1930
• Every weekend schedule required, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts if offered
• Holiday coverage worked into the schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Floats as needed to Inova Alexandria Hospital offsite locations

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ARDMS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience
• Must be able to scan pediatric patients, including frequent abdominal cases

• One week of floor orientation provided
