Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 1+ year of general and vascular ultrasound experience for a weekend day shift assignment.

Details

• General, OB, and vascular ultrasound setting
• Weekend schedule Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• May float to South campus
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Performs general ultrasound (appendix, gallbladder, pancreas), OB/GYN (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), and vascular studies (aorta, arterial mapping, carotid, Doppler, duplex, stents)
• TCD experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, with general and vascular experience required and OB experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or ultrasound technologist program required
• ARDMS certification required, ARDMS AB and ARDMS RVT preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Travel experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Works across adult, emergency department, ICU, NICU, obstetrics, and pediatrics settings
• Performs portable ultrasound studies as needed
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen
