Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Regional (traveling) Trauma Sales Associate who will work with surgeons and healthcare professionals to deliver trauma solutions. This role requires living in one of several listed states and traveling up to 80–90% across regions.

You will become the trauma expert, manage inventory, and collaborate with sales teams to provide outstanding customer service. A background in clinical healthcare or sales and strong product knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years in a clinical healthcare or sales role
• 1-2 years sales or medical industry experience; trauma/ortho experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and data management
• Willingness to travel up to 80–90%

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary backup contact support for territory for Sales Representatives and Associates
• Complete Sales Associate training program (orientation, center training, product knowledge, field territory training)
• Attend surgeries using Stryker Trauma products to ensure product availability and instruct surgeons
• Work with sales teams to deliver excellent customer service and develop relationships
• Identify needs of new prospects and respond with appropriate actions
• Learn features and benefits of new products and use additional products as they come available
• Implement sales plans and tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge
• Coordinate with manager to assist in on-call case coverage needs
• Acquire understanding of sales requirements and regulatory compliance
• Maintain training in sales skills and product knowledge
• Market products to customers based on functionality and differentiators
• Maintain knowledge of industry, customers, and competitors
• Participate in sales and professional meetings outside regular hours
