Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Regional (traveling) Trauma Sales Associate to support trauma product lines across multiple states. This role requires 80-90% travel and an on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will serve as a trauma expert, train surgeons and healthcare professionals, maintain inventory, and coordinate with sales teams to deliver excellent customer service. Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in clinical healthcare or sales is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years’ experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)
• 1-2 years demonstrated success in sales or medical industry experience; Trauma/Ortho preferred
• Applied knowledge of current office technologies (Microsoft Office Suite, databases, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships; surgeons & hospitals in respective areas preferred

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary backup contact support for territory for Sales Representatives and Associates.
• Completes Sales Associate training program, including orientation, Center Training, Product Knowledge and Field Territory Training.
• Attend surgeries in which Stryker Trauma products are used to ensure product availability and to instruct surgeons on product use.
• Work with sales teams to deliver excellent customer service and develop relationships
• Identify needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses
• Learn features and benefits of new products and how to use additional products
• Implement sales plans and marketing strategies to position Stryker competitively
• Coordinate with manager and sales team for on-call case coverage needs
• Acquire understanding of sales requirements including regulatory issues
• Maintain privacy, assets, ethics and compliance with laws and company policies
• Assist in account problem resolution
• Maintain training in sales skills and products
• Market the product line to customers based on product knowledge and differentiation
• Maintain knowledge of industry, customers, and competitive trends
• Participate in sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular hours
