Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Current state license required if applicable.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military program.

Responsibilities

• Work in hospital operating room as scrub technologist.
• May float to Labor & Delivery as needed.
• Shifts range from 10 to 12 hours.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Support surgeon and RN to maintain sterile field and equipment.
• Prepare case carts and procure necessary instruments and supplies.
• Coordinate instrumentation with OR and sterile processing staff.
