The position involves working in a 7 OR suite environment, scrubbing diverse cases with a collaborative team, and adhering to Meditech EMR documentation. Shifts run 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with rotating weekends and call.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
• State licensure required if applicable.
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Scrub surgical cases across multiple specialties as part of a collaborative surgical team.
• Work on the Hospital OR Surgical Services unit with 7 OR suites.
• Perform procedures including Ortho, General, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental cases.
• Follow Meditech EMR for documentation and patient care processes.
• Rotate through shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with weekends and call.

• Works alongside RNs, CSTs, First Assist CSTs, and orderlies
• General knowledge and skill set to scrub most surgical specialties required
• Preferred experience in Orthopedics (Totals & Trauma), Neurosurgery, and General Surgery Robotics
• Performs procedures including Ortho, General, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental cases
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Mixed shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No floating required
• Rotating weekends and call required
• Working holidays required
• Scrub surgical cases across multiple specialties as part of a collaborative surgical team
• Hospital-supplied scrubs provided
• Best suited for friendly, professional, and self-motivated individuals
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
