American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist for a Level 1 trauma hospital operating room, requiring NBSTSA certification and 3+ years of inpatient surgery experience.

The role features 12-hour shifts (7a or 7p), every 3rd weekend and alternating holidays, with potential to float to other OR campuses as needed. Local candidates within 50 miles are considered at a reduced local rate.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification is required and only this certification is accepted.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery experience is required.
• Level 1 trauma experience is required.
• Must be competent in at least 5 listed surgical services.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 22-room OR supporting surgical services including general, gyn, ortho, neuro, vascular, trauma, and more.
• 12-hour shifts with 7a or 7p starts on a mid-level 36-hour DN rotation.
• Every 3rd weekend as needed and every other holiday required.
• Call required once per schedule.
• May float to other OR campuses if needed.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication.
• Accepts local candidates within 50 miles at a reduced local rate.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 22-room operating room staffed 24/7 supporting surgical services including general, GYN, GU, oral, ENT, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, and spine
• 12-hour shifts with 7a or 7p start times on a mid-level 36-hour DN rotation
• Every 3rd weekend as needed and every other holiday required
• Call required once per schedule
• May float to other OR campuses if needed
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
• Accepts local candidates within 50 miles of the facility at a reduced local rate
