Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with open heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience is required.
• License is required if applicable.
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol procedures is required.
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and booster is required.
• One supervisory/manager reference dated within one year of assignment start is required.

Description

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Tech/ORT for a CVOR position requiring NBSTSA certification and open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgery experience.

Details

• CVOR unit performing cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and general surgery cases
• Call requirement includes one overnight shift during the week and every third full weekend
• May float to the Observation Unit as needed
• Requires proficiency with cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and robotic surgical procedures including CABG, TAVR, VAD, EVAR, TEVAR, and Da Vinci robotics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with open heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol procedures

The $2,608 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
