Description

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist with at least 18 months of recent CVOR experience for a long-term hospital assignment in Atlanta, GA.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR unit assignment
• 4x10-hour AM shifts averaging 70+ hours per four weeks
• Schedule includes one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per rotation, not necessarily consecutive
• Weekday shifts run 5am-11pm or 11pm-7am, with weekend and holiday shifts covering 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
• May be required to float to the General OR as needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years in a similar acuity setting
• Strong endovascular experience required
• Must have proficiency levels of 3 or 4 in cardiac and vascular procedures
• License required if applicable
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• References not required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform surgical technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room setting handling cardiac and vascular procedures
• Support cannulation, aorta, and endovascular cases as part of the surgical team
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates are not accepted unless an exception is granted
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, and 3 days when falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment

Lodging: $182.00 x 7 days = $1,274
