Description

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist with 4 years of experience for a cardiovascular operating room position at a community hospital.

Details

• CVOR unit within a community hospital surgical services department
• Cardiovascular surgical caseload including CABG, valve replacement, and endovascular repairs
• Uses Accudose and Omnicell medication systems
• Documents in Cerner EMR
• Day shift options of 5x8 (6:45a-3:15p) or 4x10 (6:45a-5:15p)
• Call required Monday-Friday 3:15p-7a and weekends 24 hours Sat/Sun
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of CVOR surgical technologist experience required, though candidates with 2-3 years of strong experience may be considered
• Previous travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and endovascular aortic repair
• Assist with vascular, general, and other surgical specialties as needed
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must live within 75 miles to be considered local, with local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
