American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a hospital setting. Requires 2+ years CVOR CST experience, BLS from AHA, NBSTSA certificate, and VA state license if applicable.

The role supports cardiac and major vascular procedures in a dedicated CVOR with 1:1 patient ratios. Day shift, 4x10s, with first case cardiac start at 6:15 AM or 6:45 AM for other cases. Weekend rotation and 11–14 days on-call per 4-week schedule.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years CVOR CST experience.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• NBSTSA certificate required.
• VA state license required if applicable, status must be stated.
• Experience with open heart and major vascular procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with CABG, valve replacements/repairs, aortic surgery and structural heart procedures preferred.
• Experience with ECMO and mechanical circulatory support preferred.
• US SSN required for consideration.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Support cardiac and major vascular procedures in a dedicated CVOR setting.
• Assist with first case cardiac setup to ensure on-time starts.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in a 2-CVOR room surgical services area.
• Participate in day shift 4x10 schedules; weekend rotation.
• On-call 11–14 days within a 4-week schedule; float as needed.
• Operate within Epic EMR; adhere to facility dress code and policies.

• Blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
• Candidates must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
